Charities Lean Forward - From Idea to Execution - Legal and Practical Considerations for Partnerships and Collaborations

  • Zoom

Legal considerations for partnerships and collaboration shape how a charity works with others, shares resources, and manages risk. Partnerships can help expand reach and impact, but they also raise practical questions that many charities face when working with external parties.

This session looks at what charities need to think about before entering a collaboration. It explores when formal agreements are needed, how to define roles and responsibilities, and how decision-making should be structured. It also covers issues such as ownership of data and outputs, use of branding, and how to set clear expectations from the start.

Join our panellists to examine and discuss governance and accountability, including how charities remain aligned with regulatory requirements while working with partners. Common risks will be addressed, along with ways to manage disagreements or disputes if they arise. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how to approach partnerships with greater clarity, manage risk in a practical way, and support collaborations that align with their organisation’s purpose.

This webinar is brought to you by the Office of the Commissioner of Charities and Pro Bono SG.
